Guidance For Parents
Important Information
- On arrival at your venue please make your way to THE REGISTRATION DESK, signage will point you in the right direction.
- Any child arriving at a venue prior to the designated drop off times WILL NOT BE SUPERVISED and WILL NOT be the responsibility of the HA4K staff.
- Please ensure children bring a packed lunch, plenty of snacks and refreshments with them. HA4K staff will ensure there are plenty of breaks in the day for children to have refreshments. PLEASE NOTE HA4K do not provide breakfast, lunch or refreshments for participants.
- Please ensure children dress appropriately for activities and the weather.
- Children need to be collected from the RECEPTION DESK at the correct time and be signed out by a HA4K member of staff. (Short day - 3:30pm / Long day 5:00pm, times can vary at selected venues) PLEASE NOTE HA4K staff will leave venues at 5:05pm each day. Children will not be supervised after this time.
- If children behave inappropriately or refuse to take part in activity sessions, parents will be contacted and asked to collect their child.
- HA4K staff cannot accept responsibility for administering medication other than First Aid in the instance of an accident.
Coronavirus Important information
If a child begins to show symptoms of a cough/fever there will be a designated area where the child can be kept safe and isolated
The main symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are:
- a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
- a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
- a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
If your child displays symptoms we will call you to collect your child as soon as possible. Any areas where the child has been will be deep cleaned.
- If your child tests positive for Covid-19 after being at the club, you MUST let us know as soon as possible
- If your child was in a bubble with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 we will inform you as soon as possible
